Question: 1-) Which one should I
choose between Stationary and Mobile Concrete Plant?
»Stationary
plants are preferred when
there is a requirement for 500 m3 and higher amounts of concrete.
»Besides,
if the location of the plant is to be changed every 3-5 months, the
right choice is a mobile plant.
»If
concrete is to be sold to the market, then stationary plants are
more suitable. Moreover, only Stationary Plants allow
increasing production capacity later.
»If
the installation site is not favorably wide, a mobile plant has
to be preferred.
Question: 2-) What are the
differences between Dry System and Wet System concrete plants?
The
most important difference between Dry System and Wet System is that in wet
system the materials (aggregate-cement-water-additives), which are
automatically weighed, are batched inside the plant mixer and
then discharged into truck mixer. In dry systems, all the materials which are
weighed automatically are discharged into mixer truck alongside the water and
the batching takes place inside the truck.
Question: 3-) Can I choose Dry System for all projects?
No
you cannot. You cannot choose dry system in production of paving stone and in
areas near settlements. You can choose dry system in all other circumstances.
Question: 4-) In which projects should I prefer Eco-System
Concrete Plant?
»It
is usually preferred for small concrete requirements such as 15.000 – 20.000 m3.
»It is also preferred when the plant installation area is not favorably big.
»The biggest advantage is that the whole plant can fit in 1 truck for
transportation.
Question: 5-) How many types of mixers are there?
»There
are 3 types of mixers.
»These mixers vary depending on their usage areas.
a)
Planet (Mostly used in production of paving stones)
b) Single shaft (Single shaft mixers are preferred for concrete requirements up
to 100 m3)
c) Twin shaft (Twin shaft mixers are preferred for concrete requirements
of 120 m3 and more).
Question: 6-) Which type of mixer
is mostly used in the sector?
»80%
of the sector generally prefer single shaft mixer.
»It is preferred when there is no hydraulic section in the system in heavy duty
worksite conditions.
» Drive force is generated by the help of two separate motors and reducers.
Consequently, when one of the motors or gears breaks down, the concrete
production carries on with single motor at half capacity.
Question: 7-) What is the minimum
equipment required in a concrete batching plant in order to
sell ready-mix concrete to the market ?
a-)
60 m3/h Stationary Concrete Batching Plant
b-)
Minimum 2 acres of land
c-)
Minimum 3 x 10 m3 truck mixers
d-)
1 x 37 m concrete pump
e-)
1 x JCB Loader
Question: 8-) What is a concrete
plant? What are the types? Where is it used? What are the general
features?
>>
Concrete plant is the generic name given to the plants where materials such as
aggregate, water and cement are taken in certain proportions and batched in the
plant mixer for some time and then discharged into truck mixer by means of
computer software.
>>
Aggregate bunker, aggregate weighing belt conveyor, mixer feeding conveyor
belt, cement silos, concrete mixer and automation system are main components of
a concrete plant.
